Miss Tara Uzra Dawood, with a background in asset management, corporate governance, and law, plays a key role in the organization’s growth and success through her leadership and innovative approach. Miss Dawood currently serves on the boards of several prominent institutions, including Pakistan State Oil, where she leads the Audit, HR, and IT/Innovation committees, as well as Pakistan Refinery Ltd., Dawood Family Takaful Ltd., and the Mutual Funds Association of Pakistan. Additionally, she has previously served on the board of Lahore Electric Supply Company.

Beyond her corporate achievements, Miss Dawood is deeply committed to social impact through her philanthropic work, supporting women and children, especially through the Educate a Girl initiative.

Her commitment also extends to providing emergency relief, including aid during the SWAT earthquake and food distribution during the COVID-19 pandemic and the Sindh floods.

Miss Dawood is committed to social impact through her philanthropic efforts. She leads the LADIESFUND initiative, which trains over 12,000 women and youth in entrepreneurship. She is also involved in the Educate a Girl project with Facebook’s internet.org and the World Bank. Additionally, she has contributed to emergency relief efforts during the SWAT earthquake, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the Sindh floods.
